Are there different colour options available for uPVC and aluminium windows?
Yes, there are a multitude of colours available, with aluminium windows available in many RAL colours, and uPVC windows also offering many options in woodgrain, or smooth finishes, ranging from contemporary grey colours, through to traditional colours, like rosewood & oaks. Dual colours are also available in both uPVC and aluminium, eg. ‘anthracite grey’ external & ‘white’ internal.
Do you offer a guarantee on your uPVC and aluminium windows?
Yes, all our installations are registered with FENSA (Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme) where applicable, and are backed up with a 10-year Insurance Backed Guarantee with Installsure.
Are trickle vents required in new uPVC and aluminium windows?
Yes, this requirement was brought in as part of Building Regulations from June 15th 2022. Landmark will be able to guide you through the process, on what size would be required per room, and the location of the trickle vents – each system varies as to where they need to be located within the frame.
Do you use contractors to install your uPVC & aluminium windows in Plymouth?
No, Landmark do not use external contractors for any of our window installations. All of our team are employees of Landmark Windows & Doors and FENSA-Approved Installers.
